Easi UpLifts, known in Ireland and the UK as Height for Hire, started in 1978 in Ireland with one 40ft vehicle-mounted machine.
Today, with over 40 years’ experience in the access industry, it has nearly 100 locations across Ireland, UK and central Europe
The company grew from its modest beginnings during the 1980s and 1990s in Ireland, when large multinational companies coming to Ireland saw the demand grow in the construction sector for large scale building projects which required safe working at height solutions.
Having originally tested the UK market with a depot in Scotland during the 90s, the company went on to roll out 4 depots in the UK during the noughties in Manchester, London, Newcastle and the UK Midlands. It now has over 70 locations across the UK where you can pick up and drop off 20m HighDrive van-mounts.
Easi UpLifts opened its first Hungarian depot in Győr in 2013 to provide safe working at height solutions close to the construction of the new Audi plant. Since then it has opened depots in Budapest and Kecskemét. The company also has a presence in Slovakia with depots in Bratislava and Košice.
